The Challenge

One of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies needed to prepare its executive leadership to respond to a national cybersecurity crisis. The organization’s size, complexity, and high-stakes relationships with government, regulators, and the public demanded a realistic, high-pressure tabletop exercise to expose gaps in existing plans and strengthen its crisis team’s readiness.


The Strategy

Partnering with a Big Four consulting firm, Sovereign designed and delivered a rigorous, scenario-driven training simulating a cyber incident with national security implications. We enhanced the company’s crisis communications plan, provided real-time response guidance, and coached spokespeople to handle worst-case media and stakeholder pressures.
